REMINDER: TSSW Spring 2022 Semester Starts January 18

Happy 2022 and happy start of Mardi Gras Season to all our Tulane University School of Social Work (TSSW) students, faculty, and staff!

To those returning, we hope that you had a Winter Break that was exactly what you needed it to be. To those new to our community, welcome, and we look forward to getting to know you!

We are excited to start classes and continue our shared commitment to doing work that matters. As a reminder, the Spring 2022 semester for all TSSW students begins Tuesday, January 18 with all classes being held online.

• On-campus students will attend their classes online as scheduled for the week of January 18 and return to in-person classes the week of January 24.
• Online students will start as planned the week of January 18.
• For our Master of Social Work students starting or continuing field education, you can begin your practicum the week of January 18 unless your field site has indicated otherwise.
• For our on-campus Doctorate of Social Work students, your January classes will all be conducted online.
• Tulane continues to require masks or facecoverings indoors on campus, and the City of New Orleans has recently reinstated its indoor mask mandate.

Campus Health has communicated a variety of details about boosters and testing as part of our COVID-19 campus policies. We recommend you review those here, and any questions you have about the University’s Spring 2022 COVID-19 policies can be submitted here.
