Social Work Ethics: Management of Secondary Trauma and Self-Care - Online CEU

This workshop covers social work ethics and burnout. Through case study, the attendee will identify the consequences, costs and benefits of different directions in interventions with clients.

• We will explore secondary trauma and the ethics of self-care.
• We will develop concrete self-care plans to maintain optimal health and practice.

Presenter Information:

Parker Sternbergh, MHA, LCSW-BACS is the Director of the Porter Cason Institute and Center for Life Long Learning at the Tulane School of Social Work. She has been at Tulane since 2009. Ms. Sternbergh has worked in private clinical practice, agency and community macro settings.

Workshop Details:

The event will be held on May 16, 2020 from 1 to 4:15 pm online.

This training is designed for mental health professionals and provides 3 ethics hours of continuing education.

The registration fee is $85. Tulane University adjuncts, DSW students, faculty, and staff may contact us for discount codes.
