Equitable Adaptation and Climate Resilience

All communities are vulnerable to climate change impacts, and some have increased vulnerabilities due to limited access to resources and opportunities. Looking at climate resilience through the lens of equity can help address these disproportionate impacts and dismantle barriers to preparedness and response. This will help ensure all communities employ policies and processes that make sense for them and where all can participate and thrive. As such, the Tulane University School of Social Work has invited a variety of leaders to speak about their approaches to "Equitable Adaptation and Climate Resilience" at the January Elk Place Health Spot.
