Jaime Evans, LMSW, CFLE-P is a Senior Program Coordinator of Field Education at Tulane School of Social Work. In this role she facilitates field placement for students, liaises with field placement agencies, and works to support the students in all aspects of the field training experience which is crucial to Social Work pedagogy. Jaime graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies in May 2017 and earned a Master’s in Social Work from Southern University at New Orleans in May 2019. Prior to accepting this position, Jaime assisted young adults with obtaining their high school equivalency diploma and previous offenders with gaining job readiness skills that led to full-time employment. Jaime has also worked as a Social Work Coordinator with NOLA Public Schools where she was responsible for ensuring students and parents were in compliance with Louisiana’s Compulsory Attendance Laws and were connected with necessary supports to improve school attendance.
