Biography

Lauren Terzis received both her PhD and MSW from the School of Social Work at Saint Louis University. Her dissertation focused on financial behaviors among immigrants, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative research methodology. Lauren has presented her research at national conferences, such as the Society for Social Work Research, and also at regional immigration conferences. Lauren has experience working with underserved children, families, and adult volunteers at a mentoring agency in St. Louis, and as a residential counselor at a community action agency in Central Illinois. Lauren is a native of Sydney, Australia
