Marvin W. Clifford, PhD, LCSW-BACS, CGP is an adjunct faculty with Tulane University School of Social Work for over 28 years. He specializes in social work practice, addictions and co-occurring disorders, mental health, children, adolescents, families, couples, individuals and groups. His teaching interest are methods, clinical areas, mental health, addictions, human behavior and the social environment, community, and relationships, marriage and family, theory, and groups. Dr. Clifford is also a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor (BACS), holds the Certified Group Psychotherapist credential, and is a Certified Employee Assistance Professional as well. His affiliation with the Ochsner Health Systems Department of Psychiatry goes back 29 years. Currently he is the Director of Employee Assistance Programs and the Director of Group Therapy. He also does supervision and direct clinical practice with a variety of clients.
