Expert Advice: Climate Change and Children's Health

DRLA Director Dr. Reggie Ferreira provides his expertise to a Healio article on how climate change could threaten children's health.

“There are psychological effects we are aware of if there’s damage to the environment that can lead to depression. There can be self-destructive lifestyles as well that originate from climate distress because there’s a hopelessness that comes about, and that relates back to children,” said Dr. Ferreira.
