Expert Advice: Compassion Fatigue & Social Distancing

TSSW Professor Charles Figley provided insight to NOLA.com on compassion fatigue and how social distancing has complicated our ability to connect with others for support in times of stress.

“It creates barriers, a divide,” said Figley. “And that happens just at a time when we need to turn to other people for support.”
