Global Disaster Resilience Assessment Community of Practice with DRLA and Spin Global

Disaster resilience leadership helps communities build their defenses against future threats. While no one-size-fits all solution will do this for every community, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) funded the development of guidance and tools to help communities measure their “Capability Quotient (CQ).” CQ is the readiness to respond to risk and to respond to disruptions of any kind, and measuring improvements in this area will guide communities and enhance their resilience to disasters. Director of Tulane's Disaster Resilience Leadership Academy, Dr. Reggie Ferreira has been participating in this endeavor, which is lead by DRLA Fellow Joel Thomas from Spin Global.
