TSSW Presents Walk-up / Drive-Through Event and Online Presentation for Commencement
When a rise in COVID-19 cases in New Orleans and around the U.S. cancelled its planned 2021 Commencement Ceremony, TSSW quickly pivoted to host a walk-up / drive-through event in the Cowen Circle of the Tulane Uptown campus. Family members and loved ones masked up and watched from a safe distance as 33 Doctorate of Social Work candidates were hooded, and 40 Master's candidates walked or drove through to receive a diploma tube with a special gift inside.
