Publication: Covid-19 Mental Health Disparities

Studies about the disproportionate mental health implications of the COVID-19 pandemic impact on communities of color in the United States have just now begun to emerge. TSSW faculty members are in engaged in one such study with the purpose to "better understand mental health concerns and test whether social determinants of health and COVID-19-related experiences influence these concerns."

Recently published in the Health Security Journal, "Covid-19 Mental Health Disparities" is authored by TSSW Assistant Professor Dr. Leia Saltzman, TSSW Associate Professor Dr. Tonya Hansel, TSSW Dean Dr. Patrick Bordnick, TSSW MSW candidate Veronica Henry, and Dr. Amy E.
