Publication: Mental Health Service Delivery for IPV Victims During COVID-19

Irene Hegarty, DSW candidate, is a co-author on a recent article in the Behavior Therapist, the journal from the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies. In the article called "Mental Health Service Delivery for IPV Victims During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Technology as a Path Forward," the co-authors describe the advantages and disadvantages of telehealth and use two reputable and longstanding violence-prevention organizations in the Greater Houston Area to illustrate some of the benefits and advantages resulting from the abrupt shift to telehealth-based service delivery for intimate partner violence survivors.
