Publication: Traumatology Special Issue on COVID-19
Dr. Reggie Ferreira serves as the editor of Traumatology, a primary reference for professionals all over the world who study and treat people exposed to highly stressful and traumatic events, such as terrorist bombings, war disasters, fires, accidents, criminal and familial abuse, hostage-taking, hospitalization, major illness, abandonment, and sudden unemployment.
The most recent issue focuses on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and includes studies focused on mental health disparities, trauma, and resilience in its wake. It includes fourteen articles detailing empirical and theoretical approaches seeking to gain a better understanding of how COVID-19 impacts our overall well-being.
