Biography
Professor Candice C. Beasley, DSW, LCSW-BACS, earned her MSW from the University of Oklahoma at Tulsa in 2011 and has been a social work practitioner for more than 10 years. Dr. Beasley has publication and curriculum creating experience, having recently co-created the Ubuntu Program for Emotional Wellness, through Pfizer and Take Action For Health, with Dr. Marva L. Lewis of Tulane University. She has extensive experience in Child Welfare, Social Work and the Courts, Domestic Violence and Medical Social Work. Dr. Beasley is also a 2017 Doctorate of Social Work graduate from TSSW and lives in New Orleans with her son, Cameron.
