Continuing Education & Professional Development

Social work continuing education is a vital component of the profession's competency and ethical values. Throughout their careers, social workers, especially those that want to obtain and maintain licensure, must continue building their knowledge and skills to better empower the individuals, families, groups, and communities they serve. The Tulane University School of Social Work believes transformation, personal growth, and professional development isn't limited to those engaging in our graduate level degree-seeking programs. Our Center for Lifelong Learning (CLL) facilitates social work continuing education for our entire community as does the Elk Place Health Spot and the TSSW Alumni Association. Throughout the year, we offer mental health professionals a diverse collection of continuing education opportunities. Our Upcoming Events are listed below, and you can learn more details by clicking on each link.
