Diamond Nickelson

As the HRSA Program Coordinator, Diamond will support the daily operations of the Project RETAIN grant.  Diamond is from New Orleans, Louisiana by way of Reserve, Louisiana. She has been a resident of New Orleans since age 5 and attended elementary, middle and high school here. After Hurricane Katrina, she spent 2 years, with family, in Laplace, Louisiana until returning to NOLA to attend Xavier University Preparatory School.  Diamond received her MSW from TSSW in May 2020, serves as a member of the TSSW Alumni Board, and is currently a DSW student. In Diamond’s spare time, she enjoys traveling with her mom, spending time with her Pomeranian “fur baby” London, engaging in DIY projects, horseback riding, and trying new foods.
