Biography
Dana Logan earned her DSW from Tulane’s online DSW program. She earned her MSW from the University of Southern California. Her social work background has focused on veterans, substance abuse, and domestic violence. Her current research aims are to better understand the social and psychological impact of disasters such as COVID-19. Her previous experience with qualitative research focused on future social work practitioners’ adaptation over-time during the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, she is focused on identifying factors of professional grit among mental health professionals with the goal of developing mental health interventions to decrease risk of compassion fatigue.
