Erica Buckner has over 15+ years of experience. Her professional acumen includes domestic & international social work; adolescent & adult skills coaching, psychotherapy, assessments, and acute inpatient psychiatric services.
Ms. Buckner's research & community championship is undoubtedly committed to helping communities obtain tangible services; delivering culturally sensitive evidence-informed treatment; adapting psychosocial and educational assessments for ethnic-racial samples; and cultivating equity in education policy and practice.
She utilizes applied integrative approaches most practical to address systemic social needs within minority populated & developing communities. Though she is trained on prescriptive treatment orientations such CBT, DBT, ACT, & Trauma-focused CBT, she utilizes a client-centered approach that primarily highlights contextual factors to ultimately define individualized treatment mechanisms.
