Biography
Maurya Glaude, Ph.D., MSW, LCSW-BACS is a proud TSSW Alumna! Her 15+ years of clinical experience inform her research on mental health and enhance her teaching and mentoring of students in preparation for frontline community-level and equity-centered practice. She acknowledges her responsibility as a leader to co-create, mentor, and prepare future leaders through practice-informed research and programming that prioritizes changing systems. As a clinician and author, she is committed to family-centered interventions that activate generational healing and promote family preservation. Dr. Glaude enjoys art, dancing, and traveling with family and friends.
