Scott Burcham

Biography

Scott Burcham, MSSW, MA, LCSW, has over twenty years experience in Social Work education with teaching experience at both graduate and undergraduate levels. He has presented numerous papers and presentations from the local to international level. His presentations are often noted for their rigor, relevance and inclusion of humor that facilitates a relaxed learning environment. He has held appointments with Arkansas State University, The University of Tennessee and the University of Arkansas. In addition he has served as the President of the Social Work Division of the Southwest Social Science Association and the book review editor for the Journal of Baccalaureate Social Work.

Scott resides in the geographical rich farmland of the Mississippi River Delta in northeast Arkansas where he is active in the mental health community, having considerable practice experience.
