Biography

Dr. Drake is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Approved Clinical Supervisor. He received his Master of Social Work degree from Tulane University in 2003 and his Doctor of Social Work in 2018. For 14 years he was a staff member at NO/AIDS Task Force/CrescentCare where he worked in both HIV Case Management and Prevention. Currently Dr. Drake is the Behavioral Health Supervisor at CrescentCare where his time is spent between Clinical Administration and Practice. His clinical areas of interest include: HIV, PrEP, MSM and Transgender Health with an extracurricular interest in the Neurobiological effects of trauma.

In addition, Dr. Drake has served as a Clinical Field Supervisor for Tulane and SUNO Schools of Social Work, The University of Houston College of Social Work and The Chicago School of Professional Psychology at Xavier University of Louisiana, in New Orleans. Dr. Drake resides in New Orleans with his domestic companion and their four canine children, Gumbo, Beignet, Absinthe and Pimms.
