Pamela Melton, DSW, LICSW-PIP

Biography
Dr. Melton has over two decades of interdisciplinary clinical experience in public health administration and psychotherapy. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and a Private Independent Practitioner (PIP) and has over nine years of graduate teaching experience. She received her Doctorate of Social Work from Tulane University and Master of Social Work from The University of Alabama.
Dr. Melton has extensive experience in public health administration, HCV/HIV, and clinical and medical social work. Melton's research agenda is primarily influenced by her prior clinical practice with chronic illnesses. Her research foci are to publish clinical, translational and applied research to assist health professionals in improving health outcomes and extending the lives of those burdened with chronic illnesses.
