Biography
Dr. Lindsey Fields, LCSW, earned her MSW and DSW from Tulane University School of Social Work. Prior to her time as a social worker, she was an attorney whose practice was focused on providing legal support to those negatively affected by the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill.
Dr. Fields has a passion for field practicum and its importance as the signature pedagogy of the profession. She has been the Director of Field Education since 2023. Her practice in the field of social work was focused on substance use disorder and harm reduction.
Dr. Fields has lived in New Orleans for decades and has a passion for providing support to the future social workers who will serve this community, and so many other communities nationally and internationally.
