Online Synchronous Experience
At Tulane School of Social Work, we are proud to offer online synchronous programs and learning opportunities. Synchronous learning is when instructors and students gather at the same time and place (virtual or physical) and are all interacting in “real-time”.
Studies have found that, much like in person academic programs, students are able to develop a strong sense of community through taking online synchronous courses compared to online asynchronous coursework.
