Biography
Jennifer Ostermann, LCSW is a Program Manager & Senior Field Education Coordinator at Tulane School of Social Work. Jennifer earned her BA in Psychology from the University of Arizona in 2007 (Bear Down!) and completed her MSW at Tulane University School of Social Work in 2014.
Prior to joining the field team, Jennifer worked as a social worker in case management across several hospitals in the New Orleans region. At Tulane Medical Center, where Jennifer spent the bulk of her career, she was promoted to Manager of Social Services where she spearheaded the social work intern program and supervised multiple students every semester. Jennifer’s passions include program development and training, and supervising/mentoring future social workers.
Jennifer was born and raised in New Orleans, and after a brief stint in Houston Texas, moved back in 2009. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband and their three children. When she is not chasing after her kids, she also likes to play mahjongg with her girlfriends, who are also TSSW graduates!
