Jennifer Ostermann, LCSW-BACS

Jennifer Ostermann, LCSW-BACS, is the Assistant Director of Practicum Education at Tulane School of Social Work. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Arizona in 2007 and her MSW from Tulane University School of Social Work in 2014.

Before joining the Practicum Education team, Jennifer spent more than a decade as a medical social worker in hospitals throughout the Greater New Orleans area. While at Tulane Medical Center, she developed and led the hospital's social work internship program and supervised Tulane MSW Practicum students. It was through mentoring and teaching emerging social workers that she discovered her passion for Practicum Education and helping students #DoWorkThatMatters!

Born and raised in New Orleans, Jennifer returned home in 2009 after a brief time in Houston, Texas. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children and playing mahj with her friends (who are also TSSW grads)!
