Biography
Before coming to Tulane, Lane Luneau worked with a myriad of students, faculty, and staff on the campuses of Louisiana State University (LSU) and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL). At ULL, Lane served as an Academic Counselor for student-athletes, who participated in sports such as football, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s and women’s track & field and golf. Most recently, he served as the Assistant Academic Director of the LSU Global program, where he assisted international students as they transition to life both academically and socially on LSU’s campus. He takes great pride seeing his students become well rounded while on campus and ultimately walking across the stage to receive their degree.
Lane earned his Bachelor of General Studies with a concentration in Behavioral Sciences from ULL and his Master of Arts in Communication Studies from LSU. He is grateful for the opportunity to become a part of Tulane’s School of Social Work, and he enjoys supporting Tulane athletics at various sporting events. Lane, along with his wife, Deborah, and bulldog, Lizzie (a proud alum of New Orleans Bulldog Rescue) love the New Orleans area and are happy to call it home.
