Letitia Laurien

Biography

Letitia earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Social Work from Norfolk State University in Norfolk, Virginia. She currently resides in Fort Pierce, Florida, and brings over 25 years of experience in Social Work, with a focus on Mental Health and Wellness. Early in her career, she concentrated on treating and preventing depression and anxiety in teens and adults. Presently, she specializes in program development and the design and facilitation of worksite wellness initiatives. She founded Looseleaf Holistic Wellness, LLC to effect systemic change in mental health and holistic wellness.

In 2017, she expanded her expertise by earning a Certificate in Mindfulness and Psychotherapy. She holds additional certifications from the Institute for Meditation & Psychotherapy, the Mindfulness Center in Bethesda, Maryland, and the Spencer Institute, where she trained in worksite wellness, holistic health, and trauma. Her Certification in Clinical Supervision enables her to mentor and train Human Services Professionals seeking licensure.
