Are you a Tulane School of Social Work alum who would like to support the practicum education of our Master of Social Work students? We would love to have you share your interest with us!
Through our high-quality Practicum Education Program, we hope to connect our esteemed alumni and other licensed social workers with students in our clinical-community MSW program. As you remember from your experience as an MSW candidate, practicum education is the signature pedagogy of social work education. It gives students the opportunity to put their knowledge and skills into supervised practice and empowers individuals, families, groups, and communities in the process.
We are looking for licensed social workers all over the country to provide instruction and guidance as Practicum Instructors for our on-campus and online programs. Practicum Instructors are typically employed in agency settings, and they have the responsibility, delegated by the school, for supervising students and creating a healthy learning experience.
