CALL FOR MEMBERS: EMPOWERING CHANGE TASKFORCE

You are formally invited to join the Empowering Change Task Force. We meet on the third Friday of each month from 12 Noon to 1:30pm CST.

The Zoom link for the meetings is: https://tulane.zoom.us/j/98835346384

The Task Force is comprised of six subcommittees/workgroups that examine policies, protocols, and procedures that impact systemic racism as well as TSSW’s response to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) issues within the school and its curriculum. You may participate in one or more of the following six (6) subcommittees/workgroups:

  • Faculty and Staff Training
  • Research
  • Community Relations
  • Student Support
  • Social Media
  • Curriculum

We fully recognize and acknowledge the importance and enormity of this task. We also recognize and acknowledge that to effect long lasting systemic, structural, and institutional change at TSSW, will require commitment, dedication, persistence, and the WILL to make change happen. We look forward to the challenge of creating a more equitable, diverse, and inclusive Tulane School of Social Work, and look forward to working with you to make that happen.
