Dr. D. Scott Batey is a Professor in the School of Social Work at Tulane University. Prior to his transition to Tulane, Dr. Batey served as faculty of the Department of Social Work, College of Arts and Sciences, at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) where he directed the Honors Program. He maintains an affiliation as Scientist with the UAB Center for AIDS Research (CFAR), where he led the Center’s community engagement efforts as the Engagement and Continuum of Care Specialist for five years. In general, Dr.

Amanda is a student-focused, technology-savvy professional who has successfully navigated a career in enrollment management.

Dr. Alan Kirk is a Professor of Social Work and Director of the Kennesaw State University Master of Social Work Program located near Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Kirk holds degrees from Samford University (B.S.), University of Alabama (MSW) and Florida State University (PhD).
