Allyson O'Connor, DSW, LCSW-BACS, ACSW

Allyson Bodin O'Connor is a highly qualified professional with a solid academic background. She holds a bachelor's in psychology from the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences, with a minor in Business Administration from Nicholls State University. Her academic journey continued with a Master's and Doctorate in Social Work from Tulane University. Dr. O'Connor's career has been marked by extensive experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Approved Clinical Supervisor.

Jerry V. Graves, PhD

Jerry V. Graves has been the owner and principal consultant at Graves Public Services, LLC (GPS) since 2015. He has an academic and professional background in public administration, planning, and emergency management. Dr. Graves has amassed over 20 years of combined experience during his career as a public official and consultant. He is also an established researcher whose work has been published by the American Bar Association and the International Journal of Mass Emergencies and Disasters.

David Leiva, MS, PhD Candidate

David Leiva is a New Orleans native, veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and holds a master’s degree in economic development from the University of Southern Mississippi and a master’s degree from the U.S. Naval War College. David is an Academia Advisor for the FEMA Interagency Coordination Division, and he previously worked in Alaska, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, New Mexico, and Texas bringing multiple Institutions of Higher Education into the long-term recovery process at various disasters.
