Empowering Change: Lessons Learned and Moving Forward

The Tulane University School of Social Work is pleased to present a special webinar for Black History Month. "Empowering Change: Lessons Learned and Moving Forward" includes panelists discussing the history, evolution, and present state of TSSW’s equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) work and offer insight for others seeking to move EDI forward within their organizations. The session is on Thursday, February 17 from noon to 1:30 pm CT via the Zoom webinar platform, and we welcome TSSW and Tulane students, faculty, staff, alumni, community partners, and the public to attend. This program has been approved by the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners for 1.5 General continuing education credit hours for social workers through Tulane School of Social Work.

TSSW shares information and resources with the community as an extension of our Elk Place Health Spot, and since the pandemic, we’ve been doing this virtually. These webinars are free and open to anyone that wants to learn, and we hope the information our panelists provide informs and inspires attendees toward action.
