Publication: East Asian American Parents of Children with Autism

In addition to higher stress for caregivers, immigrant families of children with autism are particularly vulnerable to poor access to healthcare, social services, information, and other supports. A recent publication from Assistant Professor Dr. Irang Kim and colleagues from University of Maryland, Baltimore examined the current literature focused on East Asian American families raising children with autism with an emphasis on study characteristics and overall findings. "East Asian American Parents of Children with Autism: a Scoping Review" can be found in Review Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders.
